This Season, Don’t Play with the Flu!
Dear AYSO Member,
AYSO is committed to providing world class youth soccer programs that enrich children’s lives – and promote healthy, active lifestyles – but our vision is only successful if our players, coaches and families are healthy enough to stay in the game! That’s why AYSO has partnered with Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS), MedImmune and soccer stars and moms, Mia Hamm and Brandi Chastain, on “Don’t Play with the Flu,”™ a national effort to raise awareness about the importance of getting a seasonal flu vaccination this year and every year. According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), getting a seasonal flu vaccine is the single best way to help prevent the seasonal flu.1
